- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, green chilli and curry leaves. Let it crackle. Add onion, ginger and garlic (half of we have) paste. Saute for 2 minutes.
- Add tomato puree, capcicum, mushroom, turmeric powder, salt, coriander powder and garam masala. Cook covered for 3-4 minutes on low to medium heat. Again removing lid, saute for 2 minutes.
- Now, heat butter in a separate tadka pan. Add red dry chilli, few curry leaves and left garlic paste. Pour this tadka on the sabji and mix well. And simmer cook for 2 minutes. Sprinkle black pepper powder and transfer this sabji in a bowl.
- Add lemon juice when sabji becomes warm and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve with rice or roti.
