  1. Prepare 150 grms Semolina
  2. Make ready 200 grams All purpose flour
  3. Get 200 gms Sugar
  4. Prepare 50 grams Almonds

  6. Prepare 1 tbsp Raisins
  7. Make ready 1 tbsp Cardamom powder
  8. Get Few Saffron threads
  9. Prepare 1/4 cup Milk

  1. Grind together, cashews and almonds into a powder. Grind sugar into a fine powder.
  2. Add all purpose flour or flour aur maida in a bowl. Add semolina, cardamom powder, the ground powder of cashews and almonds, ground sugar, baking powder, raisins, and clarified butter or pure ghee.
  3. Add saffron threads into milk and mix well. And the milk into the bowl.mix thoroughly and gather to from a dough.
  4. Leave the dough and covered with a damp cloth for about 1 hour.
  5. After 1 hour, mix the dough again and taking smaller portions, mold into round medium sized cookies.decorate each cookie with a sliced almond. Arrange with a baking tray with the greased baking sheet. Leave enough space in between the cookies to facilitate the spreading.
  6. Bake the cookies 150 degrees centigrade for 20 minutes or bake it on big khadai for 30 minutes.
  7. Even when a baking time is over leave the cookies as it is till its temperature comes down.
  8. Once the cookies are cool, remove from the tray and consume have it with tea or coffee and store the remaining in an airtight container.
