The raisin yeast rolls taste great on their own or spread with jam, nutella or butter. Feel free to cut down on the raisins or leave them out completely, if you're not a fan like my father in law. When doing this, use soften butter, but not melted (liquid-y) butter when creating the cinnamon brown sugar topping. In a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.

Steps to make Raisin Bread Rolls with Sweet Sugar and Butter Topping:
  1. Soak the raisins in rum overnight. The photo shows the raisins after soaking overnight.
  2. Put all the ingredients except the raisins and butter into a bread machine. Start the kneading course with mix call setting. Put the yeast where you are told.
  3. After kneading the dough for five minutes add the butter. Drain and pat dry the raisins with kitchen paper.
  4. When the mix call is beeping add all the raisins. Leave the bread machine to work until the first rising is done.
  5. After the first rising, remove the dough and use your hand to knock the gas out. Divide into 10 portions and gently form into balls. Place the dough balls with joints down. One dough ball weighs about 55 g.
  6. The dough is soft and wet so dust with flour if necessary. Cover with a moistened tea towel and leave to rest for 15 minutes.
  7. After 15 minutes rest, flip over and put the dough balls with joints up. Roll out into 9-cm-diameter rounds while knocking out any gas.
  8. Fold the top and bottom ends into the centre so as to stretch the surface. Pull both sides and fold towards the centre.
  9. Try to make sure that the raisins will not appear on the surface. Place the dough with joints down on a baking tray and let rise for about 40 minutes at 35°C with the proofing setting of your oven.
  10. Leave to rise until the dough has risen to 1.5 times or twice in volume. Slash the centre of the dough with a sharp razor or knife.
  11. Insert 5 g of butter into the slash and sprinkle with plenty of granulated sugar. In this photo I used 5 g of butter for each bun.
  12. Your work will go much smoothly if you cut the butter nice and thinly beforehand.
  13. Bake in oven preheated to 200°C for about 13 to 15 minutes. Adjust the baking time according to your oven at home.
  14. After the bread is nice and golden brown, remove from the oven and cool on a cooling rack.
  15. When you open up the bread you can see plenty of raisins! You'll love the sweet sugar and butter topping.
  16. Toast lightly the next day and you will have a delicious and juicy butter topping! You don't need to toast it; you can enjoy it as it is of course.

When doing this, use soften butter, but not melted (liquid-y) butter when creating the cinnamon brown sugar topping. In a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Make a well in the center of the mixture and place one of the eggs, milk, and tangzhong in it. Switch to the dough hook attachment and, on medium speed, knead the ingredients until a dough forms. First, spray the bottom and sides of a large jelly roll pan with the cooking spray.

Information on How to Improve Your Mood with Food

For the most part, people have been conditioned to think that “comfort” foods are terrible for the body and need to be avoided. However, if your comfort food is candy or junk food this holds true. Other times, however, comfort foods can be completely healthy and it’s good for you to consume them. There are a number of foods that, when you eat them, could better your mood. If you are feeling a little bit down and you need a happiness pick me up, try a few of these.

Eggs, would you believe, are terrific for helping you fight depression. Just make sure that you don’t get rid of the yolk. Whenever you wish to cheer yourself up, the egg yolk is the most essential part of the egg. Eggs, specifically the yolks, are loaded with B vitamins. B vitamins can truly help you elevate your mood. This is because they increase the function of your brain’s neural transmitters (the parts of the brain that tell you how to feel). Try to eat an egg and feel a lot better!

Put together a trail mixout of a variety of seeds and nuts. Almonds, cashews, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and so on are all good for raising your mood. This is because seeds and nuts have plenty of magnesium which raises your brain’s serotonin levels. Serotonin is the “feel good” chemical that dictates to your brain how you feel all the time. The more serotonin you have, the more pleasant you will feel. Not just that but nuts, in particular, are a terrific protein food source.

Cold water fish are great if you want to be in a better mood. Tuna, trout, mackerel, herring and wild salmon are all full of omega-3 fats and DHA. DHA and omega-3s are two things that truly help the grey matter in your brain function a lot better. It’s true: consuming a tuna fish sandwich can seriously raise your mood.

Grains can be good for overcoming a bad mood. Quinoa, millet, teff and barley are all actually great for helping boost your happiness levels. They help you feel full as well which can really help to better your mood. Feeling hungry can really bring you down! The reason these grains are so great for your mood is that they are not difficult for your body to digest and process. These foods are easier to digest than others which helps kick start a rise in your sugar levels which in turn brings up your mood to a happier place.

Green tea is wonderful for moods. You were just waiting to read that, weren’t you? Green tea is loaded with a particular amino acid called L-theanine. Studies have shown that this amino acid actually induces brain waves. This will better your brain’s concentration while simultaneously relaxing the rest of your body. You knew that green tea helps you become healthier. And now you know it can help you be happier too!

So you see, you don’t need to stuff your face with junk food when you are wanting to feel better! Test out these hints instead!
