Great recipe for Easy-Peasy Danish Bread. I have made Danish bread while leaving it up to my bread machine's automatic setting, but I had never folded the bread myself, so I thought up the easiest way to go about it, and tried my hand at making Danish bread. Before the second rising, if it. A Danish dough whisk (sometimes just called a dough whisk, Danish whisk or even a brodpisker) is a specially shaped tool very much unlike your classic balloon-style whisk.

To begin with this recipe, we must first prepare a few components. You can cook easy-peasy danish bread using 9 ingredients and 7 steps. Here is how you cook that.

- Take 150 grams Bread flour
- Prepare 50 grams Cake flour
- Prepare 4 grams Salt
- Get 30 grams White sugar
- Make ready 20 grams Butter
- Take 140 grams Milk

In a large mixing bowl. whisk flour, salt and yeast. Add warm water and mix until a shaggy mixture forms. Spray a large oversized bowl with cooking spray. Remove the dough mixture and pour onto a heavily floured surface and shape into a ball.
Steps to make Easy-Peasy Danish Bread:
- Place the ingredients into a bread machine, set on "bread dough course," and press start. Prepare the churned butter.
- After the dough has finished, stretch it out with a rolling pin, and place the churned butter into the center. Fold the left and right flaps of the dough together, and seal at the center. (You can leave the top and bottom unfolded. This helps to make open space.) Fold the dough three times from the bottom. (This will quadruple the thickness). ↑It has been folded once in the above photo (continue 2 more folds).
- Turn it 90 degrees, and stretch out the top and bottom of the dough (As in the above photo). Fold three more times just like in Step 2.
- Turn it 90 degrees, roughly adjust the width, and stretch to about 1.5 times length. (I over-stretched this one; it should be a bit shorter). Cut 2 slits into the dough, creating 3 strands.
- While facing the cross-section upwards, braid the three strips together. Press the ends together, and face towards the bottom. Put it into the mold, and let it rise for a second time. After it has risen, bake in a preheated oven at 410F/210°C for 10 minutes, reduce to 350F/180°C, and bake for an additional 20~25 minutes. (Please adjust the cooking time according to your oven.)
- While baking, once the surface starts to burn, cover with aluminum foil.
- It's done!
Spray a large oversized bowl with cooking spray. Remove the dough mixture and pour onto a heavily floured surface and shape into a ball. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let sit. Combine the water, honey, salt and yeast in a glass bowl. Next, add a bunch of flour.
Turn to Food to Boost Your Mood
A lot of us have been trained to believe that comfort foods are not good and to be avoided. Often, if your comfort food is essentially candy or other junk foods, this can be true. Other times, though, comfort foods can be completely nourishing and it’s good for you to consume them. There are some foods that, when you eat them, could boost your mood. If you seem to feel a little bit down and you’re in need of a happiness pick me up, try some of these.
Eggs, believe it or not, can be truly great at beating back depression. Just be sure that you do not toss the yolk. The yolk is the part of the egg that is the most crucial in terms of helping elevate your mood. Eggs, the egg yolk particularly, are stuffed full of B vitamins. B vitamins can actually help you elevate your mood. This is because these vitamins increase the function of your brain’s neural transmitters (the parts of the brain that tell you how to feel). Try eating an egg and cheer up!
Build a trail mix from seeds and/or nuts. Peanuts, cashews, sunflower seeds, almonds, pumpkin seeds, etcetera are all terrific for helping to raise your mood. This is possible because these foods are rich in magnesium which promotes your production of serotonin. Serotonin is the “feel good” chemical substance that dictates to your brain how you feel day in and day out. The more serotonin you have, the happier you will feel. Not just that but nuts, specifically, are a great source of protein.
If you want to defeat depression, try eating some cold water fish. Salmon, herring, tuna, mackerel, trout, etc, they’re all chock-full of omega-3s and DHA. Omega-3 fatty acids and DHA are two things that improve the quality and the function of your brain’s grey matter. It’s true: consuming a tuna fish sandwich can actually help you overcome depression.
Some grains are really excellent for driving away bad moods. Millet, quinoa, barley, etc are great at helping you feel better. These foods can help you feel full for longer as well, which is a mood improver. Feeling hungry can truly make you feel terrible! The reason these grains elevate your mood is that they are easy to digest. You digest these grains more quickly than other things which can help promote your blood sugar levels, which, in turn, helps make you feel happier, mood wise.
Your mood could really be helped by green tea. You knew green tea had to be in this article somewhere, right? Green tea is rich in an amino acid known as L-theanine. Studies have found that this amino acid essentially stimulates brain waves. This helps raise your mental acuity while calming the rest of your body. You likely already knew how easy it is to become healthy when you consume green tea. Now you know green tea can help raise your mood too!
As you can see, you don’t need junk food or foods that are bad for you just so to feel better! Try a couple of of these suggestions instead.
