  4. Prepare 8 grams Powdered kanten
  5. Take 2 can Canned fruit

  5. This time, I used canned peach and tangerine, and added cut strawberries. I used a small can, so if you are using a big can of fruits, adjust the amount.

Agar is from Carrageenan, which is extracted from red edible seaweed (スギノリ・ツノマタ). Kanten is made of Gelidiales, red edible seaweed (テングサ・オゴノリ). Agar is clear and has a more soft smooth texture. It is used to make all types of jellies, puddings, and custards. Agar-agar is the seaweed-based gelatin I use to thicken my nondairy yogurt.
