- Make ready 2 tbsp freshly chopped Coriander leaves for garnishing
Instructions to make Squid/Calamari Masala:
- Add all the ingredients under marination section. Mix well. Leave it for 15-20mins
- Heat a pan. Add oil and wait for it to get heated.
- Add ginger and garlic. Saute for a minute.
- Add curry leaves and green chilli. Fry for few seconds
- Now add onions. Add some salt and fry till transparent
- Add tomatoes and fry till mushy
- Add the marinated squid to this mixture. Add red chilli powder. Mix well.
- Cook for 5-7mins. Don't over cook as it will turn rubbery.
- Once squid is cooked. Turn off the flame. Add pepper powder and lime juice. Mix well
- Garnish it with Coriander leaves
