- For Crust: - Crush all the Oreos in a food processor. Place the crumb mixture in a giant bowl. - (SET HALF A CUP OF THE CRUMBS ASIDE FOR TOPPING/FILLING.)
- Melt the butter and pour directly onto the crumbs and stir continuously until it turns into a doughy consistency.
- Grab a pie pan and proceed to press the dough onto the bottom of the pan, smoothing it out. (Optional: You can put the dough on the inside sides.) I personally didn't because I used a square pan.
- Place the pan in the freezer for half an hour.
- Pie: - Put the softened cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk in a mixing bowl and beat them together until the consistency is combined & creamy.
- Add the peanut butter and whip.
- Stir in the powdered sugar, and fold in the cool whip.
- Add the desired amount of Oreo crumbs and Reece's pieces into the mixture. Stir.
- Take the pan out the freezer and spread the mixture on the crust evenly.
- Cover with plastic wrap or foil and freeze overnight.
- In the morning sprinkle the remaining Oreo crumbs and Reece's pieces to the top of the frozen pie, along with the chocolate chips. - (Optional: Drizzle Caramel and/or add chopped peanuts.)

Use Food to Improve Your Mood
A lot of us think that comfort foods are not good for us and that we must stay away from them. At times, if your comfort food is candy or another junk food, this holds true. Other times, comfort foods can be utterly nutritious and good for us to consume. There are a number of foods that, when you eat them, could improve your mood. If you are feeling a little bit down and you’re in need of a happiness pick me up, try a couple of these.
Eggs, believe it or not, can be really terrific at dealing with depression. You should see to it, however, that what you make includes the egg yolk. The egg yolk is the most important part of the egg in terms of helping you cheer up. Eggs, the yolk especially, are stuffed full of B vitamins. These B vitamins are wonderful for helping to raise your mood. This is because they help improve the function of your neural transmitters, the components of your brain that affect your mood. Eat an egg and feel a lot better!
Build a trail mix from seeds and/or nuts. Almonds, cashews, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and so on are all helpful for elevating your mood. This is because these foods are loaded with magnesium, which helps to increase serotonin levels. Serotonin is a feel-good substance that directs the brain how to feel at any given time. The more serotonin you have, the more pleasant you will feel. Not only that, nuts, particularly, are a terrific protein food source.
Cold water fish are great for eating if you want to battle depression. Salmon, herring, tuna fish, mackerel, trout, etcetera, they’re all high in omega-3s and DHA. These are two substances that promote the quality and function of the gray matter in your brain. It’s true: chomping on a tuna fish sandwich can really help you fight back depression.
Some grains are actually excellent for driving away bad moods. Quinoa, barley, teff, millet, etc are all wonderful for helping you feel better. These grains can help you feel full for longer as well, which is a mood improver. Feeling hungry can be awful! The reason these grains can improve your mood is that they are not difficult for your body to digest. These foods are easier to digest than others which helps promote a rise in your sugar levels which in turn brings up your mood to a happier place.
Green tea is wonderful for moods. You were sure it had to be mentioned in this article, right? Green tea is rich in a certain amino acid referred to as L-theanine. Studies have found that this amino acid actually induces brain waves. This helps focus your mental energy while simultaneously calming your body. You probably already knew how easy it is to get healthy when you drink green tea. Now you are aware that it helps you to lift your moods as well!
Now you realize that junk food isn’t necessarily what you need to eat when you wish to help your moods get better. Try some of these suggestions instead.
