- Prepare 250 gm arbi/ Taro roots
- Get 2 big potatoes
- Prepare to taste Salt
- Get 2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- Get 2 teaspoon cumin powder

- Get 1 cup coriander leaves

Steps to make Aloo Kachalu Chaat:
- Soak tamarind in water and keep aside.
- Pressure cook arbi and potato adding some salt for 2 whistles. strain water and keep aside
- In a blender add all chutney ingredients and grind add tamarind water. Keep aside
- Peel arbi and potato and cut in to small pieces, it has to be deep fried so cut accordingly
- Heat oil in pan and fry arbi till golden first followed by potato remove in a mixing bowl
- Add dry spices and mix nicely.
- To serve put arbi potato mixture, pour a spoonful of chutney on top, sprinkle chopped coriander and some sev Enjoy
