To begin with this recipe, we must prepare a few ingredients. You can have simple cheesecake cookie pudding using 9 ingredients and 9 steps. Here is how you cook it.

  1. Take 3 as needed vanilla wafers, graham crackers(reg or choc or cinnamon), butter cookies, choc chips, etc whatever you like. best to use a variety of cookies, but i like vanilla wafers, graham crackers, and butter cookies
  2. Take 1 box Instant vanilla pudding
  3. Get 1 box French vanilla instant pudding
  4. Make ready 3 cup Whole milk. OR I have also just used 2 and half cups of whole milk, and a 1/2 cup of my favorite liquid creamer. Like creme brûlée, French vanilla, or caramel
  5. Make ready 1/2 box Cream cheese
  6. Take 1/2 can Sweetened condensed milk
  7. Prepare 1 big container-Whip cream/cool whip or homemade whipped topping or even marshmallow cream to layer on top. you can also mix cool whip with a little marshmallow cream thats what i did. you can also mix a little in pudding too. just whatever you prefer.
  8. Make ready bananas optional- i just slice me a fresh banana at the time i make me a bowl, instead of putting it in the whole dish
  9. Get optional- candy pieces or choc chips, or even chocolate or caramel sauce. or like a caramelized banana pieces

Pour in the instant pudding mix and stir until blended. In a large bowl mix together flour, baking soda, salt, and cheesecake pudding mix. In a KitchenAid with the paddle attachment (or by hand with a wooden spoon), cream together butter and both sugars. Then add the egg and vanilla.

  1. In a 8x8 dish, layer some graham crackers and vanilla wafers
  2. Mix the softened cream cheese with the can of sweetened condensed milk in a bowl, until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the puddings with the whole milk/liquid creamer, and then add the cream cheese mixture to the pudding mixture, and mix well until smooth.
  4. Then add a layer of pudding over the cookies. Then repeat again with layering cookies, and pudding mixture
  5. Then top it with the cool whip mixture and then a mixture of crushed cookies sprinkled over it.
  6. Then put in the fridge for a few hours, or overnight until the cookies soften. I like my cookies very soft, so i leave in fridge overnight. But if you like your cookies with crunch, just put in fridge for a couple of hours to set.
  7. TIP: I love cookie pudding. I've made this using all types of cookies from choc chip, butter cookies, vanilla wafers, graham crackers(reg, cinnamon, choc, ones), shortbread, lady fingers. The best is to add a variety of cookies, not just one. You can also add bananas, or candy pieces also. Also, you can split the milk with your favorite liquid creamer (French vanilla, creme brûlée, caramel, etc also. See my substitution in the milk ingredient part.
  8. TIP: You can also mix cool whip with a little marshmallow cream in a separate bowl, thats what i did to layer top. Also, you can also mix a little of the coolwhip mixture into the pudding cream cheese mixture too.If i use soke marshmallow cream i shorten the amount of sweetened condensed milk, and creamer. Its just whatever you prefer.
  9. I like my cookies to be soft. So i usually make this and put in fridge overnight. But if you like your cookies mkre on the hard crisp side, just fridge it for about an hour. Thats what i did in this pic that timex because i wanted a bowl then and not later. Lol

In a KitchenAid with the paddle attachment (or by hand with a wooden spoon), cream together butter and both sugars. Then add the egg and vanilla. In a small bowl, whisk together salt, baking soda, and pudding. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a mixing bowl, beat butter with sugars until well blended.

Information on How to Elevate Your Mood with Food

For the most part, people have been conditioned to believe that “comfort” foods are terrible for the body and must be avoided. Often, if the comfort food is candy or some other junk food, this is very true. Other times, comfort foods can be perfectly healthy and good for us to eat. Some foods really do raise your mood when you eat them. If you feel a little bit down and in need of an emotional pick me up, try a number of these.

Eggs, believe it or not, are great for helping you battle depression. You need to make sure, though, that what you make includes the egg yolk. Whenever you want to cheer yourself up, the egg yolk is the most crucial part of the egg. Eggs, especially the yolks, are full of B vitamins. B vitamins can be fantastic for boosting your mood. This is because these vitamins increase the function of your brain’s neural transmitters (the parts of the brain that tell you how to feel). Try eating some eggs to cheer up!

Make several trail mix of nuts or seeds. Peanuts, cashews, sunflower seeds, almonds, pumpkin seeds, and so on are all great for helping to boost your mood. This is because these nuts are high in magnesium, which helps to raise serotonin production. Serotonin is the “feel good” chemical that directs your brain how you feel at all times. The more serotonin you have, the better you are going to feel. Nuts, on top of bettering your mood, can be a great source of protein.

Cold water fish are excellent for eating if you want to combat depression. Herring, trout, tuna, wild salmon, and mackerel are all full of omega-3 fats and DHA. These are two substances that promote the quality and function of the grey matter in your brain. It’s the truth: consuming tuna fish sandwiches can really help you overcome your depression.

Grains can be great for fighting a terrible mood. Barley, millet, quinoa, etc are fantastic at helping you have a happier mood. They fill you up better and that can help improve your moods as well. It’s easy to feel depressed when you feel hungry! The reason these grains can improve your mood is that they are easy for your body to digest. You digest them quicker than other things which can help boost your blood sugar levels, which, in turn, helps make you feel better, mood wise.

Green tea is excellent for moods. You knew green tea had to be in this article somewhere, right? Green tea has been found to be chock-full of an amino acid known as L-theanine. Studies have found that this amino acid basically induces brain waves. This helps sharpen your mental energy while at the same time calming your body. You likely already knew how easy it is to get healthy when you consume green tea. And now you are aware that it can help raise your mood as well!

So you see, you don’t need junk food or foods that are bad for you to feel better! Try a few of these instead!
